Install Simcity (Micropolis) Ubuntu

Simcity (Micropolis) Ubuntu

This week I have been recalling old times, playing Simcity in Linux.

Micropolis, was named the free version of SimCity, which came after the EA release the code for the OLPC (portable economical of the “One Laptop Per Child”).

But, although I found the odd failure (sometimes become half frozen and you have to leave a few seconds), installation is really easy Ubuntu Dapper.

As always, the game has different scenarios, random maps, 3 levels of difficulty ..

To install only have to download the package .deb (thanks to GetDeb) and execute it.

For the rest, or simply those who want to compile it yourself, you can download the source code here.
