HP EliteBook 8440 Notebook series
HP has presented its latest notebook which is powered by Intel’s Core i7 or Core i5 processor and up to 8GB of RAM, called HP EliteBook 8440 series. It features a 14-inch LED-backlit display, up to 500GB hard drive or 256GB SSD, and a DVD SuperMulti burner.
This notebook comes with two models, they are HP EliteBook 8440p and HP EliteBook 8440w. Both notebooks bring Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, SD card reader, DisplayPort, ExpressCard/54 slot, eSATA/USB 2.0 combo port, and optional Mobile Broadband with GPS. The $979 HP EliteBook 8440p is a mobile professional needing manageability, security, upgradeable wireless, and enhanced system and graphic performance. It comes with a NVDIA 3100 graphics with 512MB DDR3 RAM. While, HP EliteBook 8440w notebook is a workstation models and has NVIDIA Quadro FX 380M graphics with 512MB VDDR3 memory. It has cost $1425.
