Desks more attractive

With the increase in allowances of computers, each time the operating system that runs on them is more attractive and includes many bells. A clear example as we progress with the Mac OS, Windows and even Linux bundle Linux-KDE or Gnome.
Today, the most spectacular is Compiz for Linux. This addition brings to Linux dynamics and lack of attractiveness that many blamed him. And I think that was the starting signal for both Microsoft and Apple make improvements in its operating systems, but Apple always has been very attractive things.
Either way, for many, the bet that the two large have done to improve their systems graphically is still limited. Perhaps more for Windows. That is why it is not uncommon to see more and more programs that either change the appearance of the desktop, such as Style XP, which despite leading for a time in the market, and remains as valid now as functional as ever.
But things are no longer there, and each time we have more comprehensive programs. For example, Royal Desktop, which Victor and spoke to us a few months ago and that promises enough.
We also have CubeDesktop, which not only brings a change in the appearance of the desktop, but also adds valuable features, such as different desks, viewer programs open more showy, and much more, all with the purpose 2D and 3D.
If we do not convince CubeDesktop we 360Desktop, as I am personally, I have been impressed by the concept of desktop 360 degrees. Do not leave to see the video, which really worth.
And surely there are many more that I leave on the shelf, this is just a small sample of what it is. It is clear that many of these programs are heavy and therefore delay the machine, depending on the amount of effects that contribute. So much qeu involve evaluation of their usefulness to the cost in performance (not counting their licenses) associated with it. Furthermore, these effects, many have already available in Windows Vista and Mac OS X.
At least with this it is clear that, as always, to taste, we colors.
