TDT has exciting plans for us in the future. At least that is what many want to believe. Manufacturers like Conceptronic think the same thing and are already providing TDT tuner to your hard disk media.

One of the first to receive this update interesting is the Conceptronic Grab’n'GO Multi Media (CM3PVRD), which will now incorporates a hybrid tuner, to be able to record both the analogue TV signal as open channels in TDT.

Now the digital media recorder does not depend on the TV tuner to record content. You can help in addition to EGP or electronic programming guide. Thus, record a program, simply drag it to the list of recording.

The tuner also gives us the opportunity to use the option that TimeShift is always welcome. We can of course record on the hard drive of the Conceptronic signal or a DVD camcorder.

Despite the introduction of TDT tuner, the Conceptronic CM3PVRD remains a media player with support for XviD, AVI, MPEG 1/2/4, JPEG, MP3, WAV and VOB. The brand has missed an opportunity to make the jump to the subtitles and high definition, two of the features that most searches for the user of this type.

They have also lost the opportunity to provide it with high-definition tuner and be able to feel that the product we have acquired thinks about the future and not just in this increasingly distant.
