Asus O!Play
Asus has introduced the digital player model Asus O!Play. It is called Asus O!Play HDP-R1 HD Media Player and is make our traditional hard drive in one multimedia. And all at a very affordable price, only 120 euros, which is fine if we consider that the Asus team supports HD video.
The media player Asus O!Play HDP-R1 HD takes the videos from various sources that we can connect via USB, eSATA (a hit for HD video) or Ethernet port. Too bad that does not include WiFi. Yes it has HDMI output that we will play almost perfect for all types of videos, including H.264, VC-1, XviD, AVI, DivX and even MKV and RMVB. Very complete in that respect then.
But this player not only live video. The audio has taken the utmost care and O!Play Asus supports formats like MP3, OGG and FLAC, with random play button on the remote control that is included in the package. The photos also can play, but does not support RAW files.
